Open Question: When Do You Know You’re Obsessed?

We all love games. That’s why we’re here, right? We love to play them, love to talk about them, and love to think about them.
At what point, though, do you realize that you are obsessed with a certain game or games?
I know that I’m obsessed with a game when I close my eyes in a given situation and actually see the game playing out. I’ve been playing Burnout Paradise pretty much day and night lately, and when I’m out and about, I can see a cross-city race to Lone Stallion Ranch, billboards shattering as I get serious air, as the scene unfolds behind my eyelids.
Horror games have also wreaked havoc on my real world interactions as well. When I’m hip-deep in a Resident Evil game, going out alone in New York City late at night is a bad idea for me. I’m convinced that an Umbrella-infected dog will be sprinting around the corner to tear my throat out, or an elevator that I’m waiting for is taking to long because I have to take down an army of zombies first with only my messenger bag and Bic pen with which to defend myself.
Yes, I know, I am insane. But riddle me this, Ology nation: At what point do YOU know that you are completely obsessed with a video game? Comment away!
